Shelby Belle’s Story

Shelby was found alone at Shelby Farms in early 2025, hungry, cold, and waiting by a stranger’s car. She was only 4 months old. When the owners of the car came back, she gave them kisses and tail wags, and they couldn’t resist helping. 

Shelby is a 1-year-old pit/lab mix who’s crate trained, house trained, and does well in the car. She loves toys, fetching, lap time, and being close to her people. She can be a little cautious at first, but once she warms up, she’s affectionate, playful, and goofy in the best way.

She’s good with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on preventatives. Shelby does have a leg injury and will be having surgery in a few months, but once she recovers, she’ll be as good as brand new! 

Shelby is ready for a home that gives her consistency, play, and a couch she never has to leave again!
