Miles Thomas’s Story

In early June 2026, we were alerted to a terrified dog hunkering down on the side of I-55. After a social media vote, we have named him Miles Thomas, in honor of the many miles he has traveled. He has had his vet visit, and we’re happy to report that he’s doing great!

He’s approximately 10 months old, weighs 40 pounds, and is heartworm negative. We’ve already started the process of scheduling his neuter and microchip. Best of all, the vet didn’t find any other medical concerns.

Miles is a sweet, young pup who is still learning the basics and will benefit from a patient foster willing to help him build confidence and adjust to life as a loved family dog. If you or anyone you know is interested in fostering, please let us know.
