Maribelle’s Story

In mid-June 2025, A kind-hearted Good Samaritan and fellow dog lover witnessed sweet Maribelle being abandoned in an AutoZone parking lot in downtown Memphis. Without hesitation, she scooped Maribelle up and brought her straight to Grace Animal Hospital for a check-up.

Maribelle is about 6 months old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and in great health. She seems to be both crate-trained and house-trained! Her rescuer generously offered to cover her vet and boarding expenses and asked if we could help find Maribelle the loving home she deserves.

Since joining the Streetdog pack, our volunteers have fallen head over heels for this gentle girl. She’s incredibly sweet, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a calm, loving nature that wins over everyone she meets.

We may never understand how someone could leave a dog like Maribelle behind, but one thing’s for sure: her future is bright, and her forever family is out there. Could it be you?
