Charlie’s Story

Meet Chuck Norris (but his friends call him Charlie!) 

Charlie is a 2-year-old coonhound with a heart as big as his personality. He was found in a field by the Tipton County Animal Shelter and has since shown just how incredible he is.

He completed a 6-week basic training course through a prison training program, where he learned good manners and built strong people skills. Charlie is house-trained, great with kids, and friendly with all humans he meets.

This energetic guy is very active, loves to play, and is known for his adorable howling—he’s not shy about telling you how he feels! He’d do best in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit and give him plenty of love and activity.

Charlie is now looking for his forever home—a place where he can finally settle in, feel safe, and be part of a family.
